Beatrix Dozier RN BSN

Hi there, I’m Beatrix, RN BSN.  I’ve been a nurse for what seems like a hundred years.  I received my first license at the age of 18 and even though I have tried other things over my lifetime, I find that I’m GOOD at being a nurse.  I spent the better part of 16 years working nights in ICU at one hospital and ER with a level 3 trauma center at another.  Those were the excitement days and I loved it. After my daughter was born though I needed to work the day shift so I transferred to the Cardiac Cath lab where I spent the next 16 years learning all about cardiovascular disease and how what we do to ourselves our whole lives catches up to us when we get older.  How it manifests in our vasculature and causes all kinds of havoc. Most of my patients were diabetic, hypertensive, obese, smokers.  Did you know that 70% of all chronic illnesses are a direct result of our lifestyles?

Somewhere around September 2017, I was going through a very rough personal crises that caused a bit of a midlife crisis and I lost my passion for hospital work.  I was unhappy and something needed to change.  So, I walked out!! Quit!! Never looked back!!! It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, and it was probably 2 years in the making.  But I did it, and I never regretted it.

That is when I came across the idea of concierge services.

I started working for Dr. Malkin, a concierge physician that specializes in overall preventative medicine and wellness through holistic means. He hired me on the spot and after doing just a few home treatments I knew that this was going to be my new niche.

I love working with people to make them their healthiest self.

The Feel Good Nurse

My patients became clients and my clients became friends. I became known as the local “Feel good nurse” because my clients always feel better when I leave. The results of this were just amazing and ever since I’ve been learning all about vitamins, hydration, and other treatments that promote health and overall wellness, anti-aging, disease prevention and much more.

I know better than anyone how hard a lifestyle change is but even if it takes years to accomplish, once it’s done, you never regret it.  Never has anyone said, “I regret the days I was healthy and fit!!” I find that most people spend years and years trying to GET BACK those days.

Trust me when I tell you that I go through the same roadblocks, setbacks and feelings of defeat as you do. Health and wellness is not easy, it’s not cheap and it requires an effort. But always remember that nothing that changes your life as much as this does, and it does not come without effort.

I am here to pass on some motivation, inspiration and companionship through health coaching, hydration and introducing you to new and innovative treatments that will keep you out of the hospital long into the future.

I am not your mom, so I won’t give instruction or tell you what you must do.  My goal is to motivate and inspire you to recognize the changes that need to happen.  To help you set realistic goals and a way to achieve them.
